Use Smoke & Pyrotechnic products with proper care.

Age

Only persons 18 years of age or over may be supplied and or use TAGinn or EG smoke and pyrotechnics.

• Checks should be put in place to ensure people under 18 are not given / supplied pyrotechnic products and that they do not use them without direct adult supervision.

Protective equipment

• Always wear Gloves and Eye Protection when using smoke or pyrotechnic products
• Hearing protection is recommended when using any Bang product

Be considerate and play safe.

The use of Tactical Hand Grenades or Smoke Grenades may be a nuisance, cause alarm or even panic under certain circumstances. For example, if you are using black or white smoke, you may cause alarm as neighbours or people close by may think it’s a fire. Similarly, if you test a Flashbang in your backyard or in an unexpected place, the noise may be mistaken for a gunshot.

• Inform neighbouring residences, businesses, farms and schools etc. as to your plans. Consider using coloured smoke rather than black or white smoke. Use Tactical Hand Grenades (e.g. MK5, AFG-6, TAG-67) only in intended spaces--at Airsoft or Paintball facilities, Tactical Training centres or film production sets.
• Use smoke or pyrotechnic devices only on private property with the express permission of the property owner: it is illegal to use these devices in public areas or at public events unless you have obtained special permission or authorization from the appropriate authorities, such as your local municipal council or the facility's health & safety department.
• Never use smoke products indoors: these device are intended for OUTDOOR use only.
• TAGinn AFG-4 and FBG-4 can be used indoors so long as you wear protective equipment (gloves, eye and hearing protection).
• EG smoke grenades and MK5 ThunderFlash should not be used on flammable surfaces: e.g. dried grass, paper or fuel.
• TAGinn products are extremely fire-safe and pose less risk in dry or flammable surfaces. Nevertheless, please be aware that these are pyrotechnic devices and must be used with proper risk assessment and care.
