TAGinn Grenades are for Consumer or Professional use.
Intended applications: Tactical Sports & MilSim, Training, Special Effects, etc.
You must be 18+ to purchase or use Pyrotechnic Hand and Smoke Grenades in Canada.
Use only with gloves, eye and ear protection.
The P-Top video (below) covers the safe use of TAGinn products, Note that, in Canada, these products are available to the public and you do not have to pass the P-Top certification. However, we ask that you review this video to ensure you are using our products safely and properly.
All but 2 models of TAGinn Hand Grenades are intended for outdoor use only. The exceptions are the AFG-4 and FBG-4: these may be used indoors because of their lower fragmentation radius or sound report.
Bang products such as AFG-6, FGB-6, R2B produce noise of approximately 125 dB at 5 meters. We recommend the use of ear plugs or electronic hearing protection whenever pyrotechnics will be used, either by yourself or other players. The electronic option will help enhance your hearing to detect enemy players while protecting your ears against explosions.
Follow all safety instructions on product packaging.
After releasing the spoon or lever, you will have only a few seconds until the Grenade detonates. Be aware of the fuse delay time for the type of Grenade you are throwing (fuse delay time is listed on the product box or on each Grenade product page on this site).
NEVER cook Grenades. “Cooking is the act of pulling the pin and releasing the tongue, but not throwing the grenade for a few seconds. This presents significant safety risks and is prohibited in all circumstances.
The fuse time of the TAGinn Grenades are as follows:
- 2 seconds - FBG-4 and FBG-6
- 3 to 3.5 seconds - All other grenade models
If you get a dud (non-functioning grenade), do NOT touch it or attempt to rethrow it. Leave it for 24 hours and then submerge it in water for another 24 hours before disposing of it with your regular trash.
By nature, all pyrotechnics have the capacity to cause personal injury and property damage. However, TAGinn tests their products extensively for safety and many thousands have been used safely around the world for years. It is your responsibility to follow the safety instructions, use protective eye, ear, and hand wear, and deploy grenades safely so as not to cause injury. When used correctly, TAGinn products are unlikely to cause personal injury.
Fire Safety: due to a careful design and engineering process, with heat-tested chemicals and component materials, TAGinn Grenades are extremely fire-safe. Nevertheless, please be aware that these are PYROTECHNIC devices and must be used with proper care. For example, if you are playing in particularly hot and dry weather, you should never throw TAGinn Grenades into fire-susceptible matter such as dry leaves!
